Applying For Credit Cards Has Never Been Easier - Is That A Good Thing?
In the Internet age that we live in getting your credit card application approved has become easier than ever.
There are many credit card offers that you can apply online for and receive instant approval. Simply fill out the credit card application and in less than 60 seconds you will find out if you have been approved.
How The Credit Card Application Process Works
The process is simple, very similar to how you would apply for any other credit cards online. It is what happens with the credit card application after it is submitted that differs.
As with any credit card you are applying for the first step is to find the card that is best suited to you. Browse though and compare several instant approval credit card offers and review the benefits offered in order to get the most out of the credit card you are applying for.
Once you have found the card that you want fill out the credit card application. You will be asked the same information that you would on any other application such as all relevant personal information, employment information and your monthly expenses.
Once the credit card application has been submitted you can expect to wait anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes while your information is processed and reviewed by the system.
Generally after you click on submit a message appears in the same browser window that says “please wait while your application is being processed”. Once processed it will tell you in that same window whether you were approved or not.
While this process is much speedier than the traditional credit card application sent through post you will of course have wait a week or two before receiving the credit card in the mail. This method is obviously attractive to anyone who needs access to credit in a short time frame. If you have a good credit history you will likely be approved.
Why Was My Credit Card Application Declined?
Don’t take it personally because your information was not reviewed by a human being. Applicants with a clean credit history (good to excellent) are the most likely to have their credit card application approved with the instant approval option.
The system checks your history with the major credit bureaus databases as well as the particular issuer’s database that you are applying for. If you have a bad credit history or have recently been declined a card from that issuer chances are this method is not going to work for you.
Are Instant Approval Credit Cards are Right for You?
If time is an issue and you have a good to excellent credit rating this is likely your best option. If not don’t be discouraged there are hundreds of great credit card offers out there and you are bound to qualify for some of them regardless of your credit history. It is just going to take a little more time and diligence on your part to find one.
